Mécène was built because we kept watching galleries, auction houses, and art fair operators fight with generic event software that had no idea what a dietary matrix was, or why a collector cannot be seated across from their ex-spouse.
It is not an Eventbrite replacement. Eventbrite is for people selling tickets at volume. This is for people who have spent three weeks planning where François will sit at dinner.
